Spring is in Full Bloom - AHH!

Nearly 75% of drivers believe that many speed limit signs will be covered up by overgrown foliage at this time of year, with 30mph signs – which are used in smaller villages and towns – the most commonly obscured, according to a recent survey.

Spring is the time of year for trees and bushes to come to life but this will prove to be very challenging for motorists as many travel in new and unfamiliar locations for work and leisure trips.

The RAC has concluded that out-of-control foliage can have a detrimental effect on motorists and impact safety behind the wheel. They advise motorists to take extra care on the roads, especially in more built up areas and when driving in unfamiliar areas.
