There is no denying the UK has some of the most stunning coastal areas and countryside in the world. So, why not jump in your car or camper and head off on a road trip and do some exploring?
The North Coast 500 (NC500) in Scotland is a five day round trip that will take you approximately 500 miles along the rugged Scottish coast, through historic fishing villages and spectacular mountain landscapes. You could even try some of the local delicacies on the way.
Snake Pass in the Peak District takes you through the National Trust’s High Peak Estate where there is beautiful moorlands and plenty of twists and turns along the way. It is 1,680ft above sea level with some of the cleanest air – on a clear day it has been reported that you can see all the way to Manchester.
Cambrian Way in Wales is a complete North-South journey running a 185 mile route that takes you from Cardiff to the quaint seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales. So, if you have five days free, get packing and off you go…
