LEARNER DRIVERS

At Lodge Automotive, we were saddened to hear that many ‘learner’ drivers are receiving aggression towards them during their driving lesson or driving test. Despite the ‘L’ plates and driving school logos, learner drivers have reported being sworn at and threatened by other drivers. 

In response, the Department for Transport is preparing to publish a call for evidence on motoring offences and police are encouraging drivers to share video evidence of any action that is dangerous or threatening.

So, if you come across a learner driver, take a deep breath and remember, we were all learners once.
