Littering
Littering
According to the RAC Foundation, littering along the side of roads, in particular motorways, is becoming a serious issue for drivers and locals. The problem is that littering is getting worse and uncollected litter is piling up. Cleaning up litter on our roads and motorways is the responsibility of the National Highways and they are working hard to manage the situation. However, it is hard to enforce, and many believe that more should be done. The Clean Up Britain group are demanding £1000 fines and six penalty points on your license if caught littering and they believe this will act as a deterrent. What do you think could be done to address the issue?
