If you’re planning on driving aboard, you’ll need to be aware of a number plate change that comes into effect this month. The new rules have been set out by the UK Government and mean drivers will need to remove any GB stickers on their cars and replace them with a UK sticker instead. In addition to this, any driver with GB permanently displayed on their number plate, which is common on newer vehicles, will also need a UK sticker for their vehicle or a new number plate. The new UK sticker will need to be clearly displayed on the rear of your vehicle whilst driving abroad and this is a legal requirement. Happy holidays!
