ULEZ OPPOSITION

We only reported on the ULEZ expansion scheme a couple of months ago but it seems that all is not well for the Mayor of London. In a recent survey, voters opposed the scheme by two to one and the backlash has extended to every part of the capital. A crime wave has been triggered with many of the recently installed cameras being stolen or damaged.

The issue is with the daily levy of £12.50 which many Londoners cannot afford in a cost-of-living crisis and many locals question whether it has made any difference to the air quality. Whatever happens next, make sure you check your car is ULEZ compliant or you will be charged a daily levy too.
